xp seems like dream

XP seems like a dream?

Hi,
Well, I have 2 desktops (one with Vista and one with XP) and a notebook 2 HDD, one with XP and one with Vista, and the desktop doesnt seem to be so bad, but now and again Vista doesnt want to start-up as fast lol, or it gets a lil slow now and again.
I go on XP to do the odd clean-up and e-mails and it works like magic lol.
Now this is my first OS Beta testing and you guys will know more, but will the final release be much faster? and is Vista actually looking as stable as XP is? (I first thought Vista was pretty stable tbh).
Now after all my moaning lol, I have realised theres a lot of 'debugging code' still which will surely slow the system down.

WinXP is a fine seasoned OS. I understand the feeling- you have been playing around in Vista for awhile and even if things are going well, you don't really realize how much snappier things are in WinXP until you boot back to it. Stuff just works in XP and works the way it's suppose to- not much experimenting, praying, hoping, wishing, stomach in knots like with Vista. Isn't that really the fun part about testing? So long as you have some patience and *backups*, no need to sweat too much.
Vista is beta, knowing that- I have a much higher tolerance for some short comings. I think we all might be a bit amazed come RC1. I hope so. :-)

Firstly, I was just seeing if people had the same oppinion lol.
Secondly, to be quite honest I have had no problems with Vista (so far, fingers crossed). At the moment I'm actually thinking of updating my bios version cos its like dated 2003, but when i finally get the right file, i am in 2 minds to install it or not lol, knowing my look the comp will go belly-up lol

Vista still contains debugging code and is not yet optimized. Both cause considerable performance hits.
